Hey Malbec!, Matias Riccitelli

Hey Malbec is an approachable Malbec with a superhero label. Riccitelli is a fierce defender of Malbec and makes them drinkable even when young. Therefore he uses concrete eggs and concrete vats instead of the more classic Oak, allowing the wines to stay transparent and keep the original profile of aromas. Also, most grapes come from high altitudes vineyards, grown between 1000 to 1700 meters above sea level.

TASTING NOTE

The wine has lots of fruity characters with blackberries and some plums. It's rather full-bodied, with the power of the Malbec delivering aromas and intensity. Yet it's round and well structured, making it enjoyable on its own without food. This wine takes the perfect approach to Malbec, where the characteristics of the grape are there without being too powerful. It's all about balance with Riccitelli's wines.
